Score like a pro using the Stableford Scoring System

Stableford is a golf scoring system using stroke-play format in which the player with most positive points at the end of 18 holes WINS, not the lowest.  

 

In Stableford, after each hole, points are awarded based on strokes relative to par - lower than par results in positive points awarded, higher than par results in negative points awarded.  This App will award points per hole the same way the PGA Tour does (which is actually called the Modified Stableford scoring system).  However, for a little more golf drama, Condor and Triple Bogey (or more) are added to the scoring system.  The default scoring system are as follows:

Condor:  +10 points
Albatross:  +8 points
Eagle:  +5 points
Birdie:  +1 points
Par:  +0 points
Bogey:  -1 point
Double Bogey: -3 points
Triple or worse: -5 points

Another feature added to this app is you can customize the scoring system.  You can change the point values when you are actively using the app.  However, once you leave a game, the point values will reset to the default values listed above.

Also, use Scorecard and Game Summary features to see results.  You can email these results when using these features.

Lastly, a leaderboard marquee will show while you are actively scoring your round.  The leaderboard gets updated after each hole has been scored.
            
Strategy in Stableford - call it Risk and Reward!!!
            
Stableford rewards aggressive play and risk-taking on the course.  Chasing Eagles and Birdies, even Condors/Albatrosses, will result in positive points.  But miss that green with your approach could result in negative points.  Keep in mind that the most a player can lose on a hole is 5 points (using default scoring system).  However, do not get too aggressive - 18 holes x -5 could result in a lot of trash talk.
